WHAT WE DO

“According to research, 1 in 10 Canadians reported being sexually victimized before they turned 18”

Welcome to the Peaks To Pacific website.

My name is Forrest Propp and I love adventure.  Since 2012 I have spent as much time outdoors as possible.

Each year the trips get longer and more adventurous.

In June of 2020 I cycled from my home in Canmore, Alberta out to the Pacific Ocean.

While in the planning stages of the trip I decided that I wanted to raise money and awareness for a charitable organisation I truly believed in.
I chose Save The Children Canada and made this website with the hopes that through writing daily trip blogs and having a dedicated space to post them I could reach more people and raise more money and awareness.

I rode my racing bike that I had adapted into a barely capable touring bike 1200km.
I rode through wind, rain, snow and scorching sun. Over mountain passes and through dry desert.

This sparked a true love and passion for long distance, human powered travel and once arrived home and briefly recuperated I immediately began planning my next big adventure.

Using my adventures as a medium to draw peoples attention, I aim to raise as much awareness and funding for Save The Children as possible.

Help me and thousands of others by making a donation to my GoFundMe page and/or sharing on your social media pages.

“All children deserve to be loved and nurtured”

Thanks in advance!

SAVE THE CHILDREN CANADA

We do whatever it takes to reach the most vulnerable children in 114 countries around the world – including Canada. Every day we ensure children survive, are protected from harm and have the opportunity to learn. When crisis strikes, we are the first on the ground and the last to leave, helping children regardless of who they are or where they live.
